ABOUT THE GIRL SCOUTS OF CRANFORD

The Girl Scouts of Cranford (48) serves more than 1,000 girls and adults in the Cranford area. The Cranford Service Unit is a part of the Girl Scouts of the Heart of New Jersey (GSHNJ) Council which is a part of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America.

Our Service Unit is comprised of more than 50 Girl Scout Troops from all Cranford schools which are broken out into levels: Ambassadors (Grades 12th - 11th ), Seniors (Grades 10th - 9th ), Cadettes (Grades 8th - 6th ), Juniors (Grades 5th -4th ), Brownies (Grades 3rd -2nd ), and Daisy’s (Grades 1st and Kindergarten). We also support Cranford Juliette’s which are registered Girl Scouts independent of a troop.

Girl Scouting is a wonderful way to get your daughter active in the community from our many Service Unit Events led by girls for girls with adult volunteer support to our Cranford Volunteer Opportunities open to troops or individual registered girls. Registered members may also participate in Girl Scout events all over the United States and beyond through nationwide council events, destination programs, council patches & badges.

Girl Scouts is a volunteer organization which only functions with the hands on support of volunteers. If your family is interested in being part of one of our troops or starting your own troop, please visit the GSHNJ Council Join Now section for more information.

Is your daughter entering Kindergarten this year? New Daisy Troops are forming and looking for volunteers to support our youngest members. To learn more send a Join Us Inquiry via our Contact Us page!
