SUPER TROOPS
Annual Recognition of Quality Girl Scouting
For Ambassadors, Seniors, Cadettes, Juniors, Brownies, and Daisies
The Super Troop Award Program is designed to promote membership and retention in Girl Scouting and to encourage leaders,
families and girls to work in partnership to achieve well-balanced program activities, leadership opportunities, and community service.
All grade levels may participate in the
Super Troop Award Program.
This Patch Program is based on troop participation, rather than individual girl achievement. If the troop completed the activities,
individual girls are not excluded because they missed one or some of the activities.
The program year begins
June 1, 2018 and ends
May 31, 2019. Requirements cannot be carried from one year
to the next. A troop, group, Cranford Service Unit or GSHNJ activity or event may be used to satisfy only one requirement.
An activity cannot be used to fulfill more than one Super Troop requirement.
This patch may be earned annually, if the requirements are met each year. (Girls participating for the first time will receive the patch, for
girls who have the patch they will receive segment year patches for every year of participation).
Troop leaders will receive Super Troop patches approximately three weeks after the order is placed.
Upon completion return entire application packet along with payment for patches.
Deadline: May 31, 2019.
