We Care About Air!

Girl Scout Troop 40534 has recently completed the Cadette Breathe journey. While researching air quality issues, the girls realized people often times take air for granted. And they decided to focus their Breathe journey Alert at Orange Avenue School, since they spend so much time at school. Please visit their website at gs40534wecare4air.weebly.com and ways to improve air quality indoors. And if you are a member of the OAS family (i.e., staff or student at OAS), please take their short survey - they want your opinion on air quality inside OAS. Troop 40534’s goal is to make their fellow students and the teachers and staff at OAS more “air aware” and to care about air as much as they do!

See the attached flyer for more information.

Arrive Alivey

A senior in high school, with a fresh perspective on people's driving habits, observed that:

"...people are on their phones while they are driving. Whether it is a teenager or an adult, it is extremely dangerous and against the law." - Candice.

As part of her Gold Award project, Candice wants to show you just how dangerous texting and driving can be. Please visit the Arrive Alive, Just Drive website and view this public service announcement both of which are part of Candice's project.

Candice is a Senior in high school pursuing her Gold Award.
